More Than 40 Years of Service to Citizens and MNAs

On November 14, 1968, the National Assembly of Québec passed the Public Protector Act in order to create an organization that would receive, investigate and process citizen complaints regarding the government.

Since 2006, the Québec Ombudsman has also taken responsibility for protecting the rights of health and social services network users.
